If we examine the files you have submitted and find an additional fee is required, we will provide you with a quote for any additional charges. If you accept that quote, payment will be required before work commences.

Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of book cover improvement and redesign services ("Services") provided by Cover Fixer. By accessing and using these Services, you ("Client") agree to comply with these Terms.

Services Offered
Cover Fixer specializes in book cover improvement, including text and image enhancements, format conversions, and complete redesigns. Proprietary AI tools may be used to improve image quality and, for Cover Redesigns, to generate new images if selected by the author.

Ordering and Payment
For the Cover Redo package, a 50% deposit is required upon order placement.
For paperback conversion, audiobook cover conversion and print cover fixes, full payment is required when placing an order.
For other packages, full payment is required once the first draft has been sent and the client wishes to proceed. If additional quoting is necessary due to insufficient files, full payment is required in advance of work starting on the project.

Deliverables
Upon completion of the service and full payment, Cover Fixer will provide the client with the final book cover design as a high-resolution JPEG for ebook covers, and print-ready PDF format for paperback covers (only if this additional service has been ordered). Source files (layered PSD) will also be provided.

Cancellation and Refunds
Clients may cancel their service after receiving the first draft if they choose not to continue, or before accepting a separate quote.
A full refund will only be provided for prepaid services if, after receiving the first draft, the client does not want to move forward with any of the work done, with or without changes. If approved, or if changes are requested, the refund will no longer be available.

Client Responsibilities and Image Rights
Clients are responsible for ensuring they hold the necessary rights to any images or materials they provide for use in their book cover design.

Intellectual Property Rights
Upon full payment, clients receive exclusive rights to use the final cover design.

Limitation of Liability
Cover Fixer's liability is limited to the service fee paid by the client for the specific project.

Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand and any disputes will be resolved under this jurisdiction.

Amendments
Cover Fixer reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.

Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between Cover Fixer and the client.
