Cover Fixer specializes in book cover improvement services for independent authors, including text and image enhancements, full cover redesigns, and conversions for paperback and audiobook covers.

How do I choose the right Fixer Package for my book cover?
Select based on the specific needs of your cover. Text Fixer is for text layout and font improvements, Image Fixer is for image quality and corrections, Cover Fixer combines both services, and Cover Redo offers a complete redesign.

What is included in each Fixer Package?
All packages include front/ebook cover changes, delivery of Photoshop and high-res JPEG files. Once the improved cover is approved, you can add optional extras, e.g. print cover layout for KDP or Ingram Spark, audiobook cover layout, and title page layout.

How does the Cover Fixer process work? For the fixer packages, the process involves selecting a package, completing the order form, making payment, and uploading your existing cover files. If your files are sufficient, we aim to provide the improved draft for review within 48 hours (the Cover Redo package can take up to 7 days).  Once we send you the draft, you can make up to 3 rounds of changes. Once you’re totally satisified, we will send you the final high-resolution files.

If there is a problem with the files provided by the author, or if we cannot complete the task for the minimum fee as quoted on the website, a new quote will be provided before moving forward. Payment is required upon acceptance of that quote. Alternatively, we will refund all payments already made

What formats and files do I need to provide? Ideally, provide a text-free, high-resolution cover, or an editable Photoshop (PSD) or InDesign (INDD) file. If these aren’t available, upload the highest quality version of your cover.

How long does it take to receive the improved cover draft? Most changes are completed within 24-48 hours after the order is received, depending on the selected package and specific requirements.

What if I’m not satisfied with the draft? When the initial improved cover draft is sent, if you’re not satisfied with the result or the process, and you see no prospect of moving forward, you can request a complete refund. We will process that refund ASAP, through the say method is was originally paid. Once the final high-resolution files are sent, the refund is no longer available.
